Sorry to keep coming back to this topic, but I still haven't solved that fetchmail problem that I mentioned earlier (email with misconfigured data in the "from" field gets flushed, but I can't read it). I have seen some of these addresses and they are screwed up (in the way I illustrated in my previous posts). But, other OSes are probably lenient enough to allow them to be received. This makes me the "troublemaker", in a perverse way. I think that it is wiser if I set my system to receive them, as well. Any way of telling fetchmail "I don't care what's in the 'from' field or even if there is one - just bring it in"?
