Since last July or so (Linus tried to install on his new notebook, failed, and implemented in-kernel support. Pissed off Dave Hinds ;). It's only with the 2.3.4x kernels that the in-kernel support has really become useable. Still have to install pcmcia-cs, however ... just for the daemons, the drivers themselves are built during the 'make modules' kernel build phase. -- Chris -------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Technical Meeting: March 11 (Sat) 13:00 Temple University Japan * Topic: "What's new in Perl 5.6" Guest speaker: Simon Cozens (TLUG Perl guru) Next Nomikai Meeting: April 21 (Fri) 19:00 Tengu TokyoEkiMae -------------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://www.tlug.gr.jp Sponsor: Global Online Japan
