Come on, tell the _full_ story.  An E450 does software RAID because it has to
use ODS for _any_ RAID functions.  It _can't_ do hardware raid because it's on
the internal controller, but this is not something specific to E450s.  It's not
a selling point.

A1000 or D1000?  One does hardware RAID by default.  The other is just a bunch
of drives in an enclosure, so the bit about the E450 applies here too.
