tlug: Japanese redhat 6.1 + VNC + kde = crawling slow

Has anyone encountered any problem using Japanese KDE over VNC?

I have

redhat 6.1 English machine   (RH61E)
and
redhat 6.1 Japanese machine (RH61J)


VNC works great with  RH61E but it almost dies on RH61J

I tried with

vnc-3.3.3r1
and
vnc-3.3.3

but the results were just the same.

strangely, RH61J + VNC works fine with other window managers such as Gnome .


Is this the bug that comes from localizing KDE into Japanese??
