tlug: mail thread rant

If you have a new topic, please start a new fscking thread, or at least
hack out the ref. header too, rather than just replying and changing
the subject line.  Broken threading hoses both threaded mail readers
(there is a certain message regarding sendmail that is nested comfortably
far down the "fish" thread), but also our web-based archive, which
threads messages.
