We're probably the only two people still in this thread ...

The suggestion I was responding to (by Scott -- <REVERB>You still
there?</REVERB>) was that folks posting stupid questions should expect to
"have their a**es flamed" or something along those lines.  Kind of hard to
squeeze courtesy (or discussion) into that one.

No offense intended to Scott -- this is zipping off in an altogether more
serious direction than he could have foreseen, I think.  :)
