For this kind of question I suggest Phrack, L0Phat, or rootshell.com.

Personally, I would give extra credit, maybe even simply assign an "A"
and delete from the roster, to a student who could accomplish this (of
course, I would then plug the hole, since the answer is now
known---and not notify the yardape who came up with it, since s/he
didn't notify me---you pay your dues ;-).  Other faculty members have
a different attitude, I suspect.
