I had the same problem, but i got it working last night. I had to change a few settings in the kernel like adding 'async' support etc, but it worked fine then.

I believe the compression option is also there.

Turn off IP header compression. Though I don't know how in Linux myself, I can promise you  with a 
heavy degree of certainty that this will fix it.
