All, Warning ... do not purchase I-O DATA HDVS external Ultra-SCSI drives. Why? They aren't SCSI. They consist of a bargain-basement Samsung ATAPI drive with a SCSI<->ATAPI translation board. The board doesn't seem to do too good of a job translating valid SCSI commands (or perhaps the drive doesn't actually support them), so their usefulness as a non-Intel boot drive is nil. Once again, "ya gets what ya pays for". Forewarned is forearmed. -- Chris
