Hello, I am a newcomer to Linux and I am sure that I will learn a lot from your emails. I have a question regarding directories of Linux applications - is there something like that. I (personal interest, my work is pure synthetic chemistry) would like to find software which does recognition of handwriting (romaji and/or Kanji). If you know something about such sites (Linux and/or other OS) could you please drop me a line. Thanks in advance. Michael Engel
