considering what he's trying to do, that's probably overkill.  i think
the DNS-HOWTO might be a better place to start.  

it's in my home directory, but i forgot how it got there.  if a search
on google or something doesn't get you anywhere drop me a line and
i'll fix you up with a tar ball.
