I have trouble getting my canon bj f201 printer to work under linux. my kernel has support for paralel port and lp, it even recognizes the printer (I get a kernel: parport0: Printer, Canon BJ F210 messeage in my logs) However, when I try to print - cat file.txt>/dev/lp0, nothing happens. The printer works fine with windows. Any ideas?
