Thank you for testing vim and kterm. Seeing that there was obviously something wrong with my set-up somewhere helped me find the problem. I had 'set mouse=a' in my .vimrc which was causing the problem. Removing it has fixed it. I guess I thought it was a good idea once upon a time. regards, Joss -- http://www.josswinn.org/humour.html
