I have Samba running on a RH 6.2 machine which is on a LAN full of windows (98, NT, 2k) machines. I've just recently had a look at the samba log files and found something strange. The are a lot of files of the form log.username for users which I am almost certain have never accessed the samba server. And even funnier is that those log files are empty, 0 byte files ... What is creating them? What does it all mean? Jc _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
