I finally have installed REDHAT LINUX 7 in my laptop.I used to format my HD with NTFS which my LILOcan't seem to find but,....when I formatted my HD withFAT32 the LILO can read it as Win95(actually Win2000)and at the start up LILO gives me a chance to boot DOS.Isn't it GREAT?! I'm so happy about it.Next I have another problem, I can't use my cdrom drive. When I click cdrom icon there's a message saying:mount:the kernel does not recognize /dev/cdrom as a blockdevic(maybe 'insmod driver')I installed RH from the cd. After I restarted the computerwith the cd in the drive I had to type"linux ide2=0x180,0x386"I learned it from the web don't know what this thing means. Can someone tell how to get my cdrom drive work?Liton
