yup yup.. Client I was at used exclusively Lotus Notes, which was also unaffected. The Notes admins hate it, but from a security standpoint, I like it. Couple that with the fact that: 1) the Notes client works great under WINE 2) the Notes server has been ported from the native OS/2 (yes, really) to NT, Solaris, and I think Linux soon as well. from a standpoint of how much the actual mail client SUCKS ASS, Outlook and Notes are about equal, IMHO. Then again, I'm a tree hugger[1]. [1] no, I'm not a militant environmentalist, I just prefer pine... ----------------------------------------------------- Scott M. I remember when the i love virus hit my university's busisiness administration dept. First, most of the machines were wiped, secondly they were using Exchange and had lots and lots of trouble to get all the infected mails off their mail spools. At the CS dept. we were ROTFL. All clients Linux and cleaning (as a service to those doing S/IMAP, S/POP ) was a small shell-script that iterated over all user's Maildirs and removed infected mail. 5min job. -- Oliver M.
