Better tell him to get his money back ( was ADSL with E-Access & GOL)

Not much point to it if GOL are to take a high handed approach to their
subscribers and disallow normal internet services and traffic over their
network.

If you are only interested in offer an email service and web browsing
service stop calling yourselves an "Internet Service Provider". Try
something along the lines of "GOL's version of the Internet".

I can well understand that they need to keep some kind of a rein on their
users nothing is more disruptive to other users than someone trying to run a
gnutella server or something similar but if your users having accepted that
the IP is not static and they have to track it for themselves but are not
able to ftp or telnet/ssh to their home machines then they are being stiffed
for their money. Even ATT who are not the most fantastic ISP in the world
don't take that approach.
