Scott, Another option.... I normally use the NT boot loader to dual boot Linux if the machine has NT on it. The NT boot loader is controled by the C:\boot.ini (hidden) file, which looks like this: [boot loader] timeout=5 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect C:\bootpart\BOOTLIN5.BIN="Linux" The BOOTLIN5.BIN file has the first hunk of the Linux boot partition (i.e., lilo), extracted with "dd if=/dev/hda5 of=bootlin5.bin size=512 count=1". So... if your Windows program can swap out the boot.ini file with one that starts Linux by default, then reboot, you are there.
