Ahaaaaa, so there IS a Tsukuba branch. :-) One additional note to anyone coming up the Joban line, if you continue past Ushiku-eki one more stop to Hitachi-no-Ushiku-eki, the bus ride to Tsukuba center takes 1/3 the time.
