"XEmacs -- the current state of play", Stephen J. Turnbull" *** this month's meeting will take place at Leading Edge *** TLUG holds meetings in the Canadian Embassy building on the 1st floor. Our meeting space sponsor, Leading Edge, offers IT consulting and IT professional placement services. Leading Edge's office is about a 5 minute walk from Aoyama 1 Chome Station on the Ginza Line or about 10 minutes from Akasaka Mitsuke Station on the Marunouchi/Ginza/Hanzomon Lines This month, Martin Baehr will be our guest speaker. The topic will be "Roxen Web Server and Pike". The second topic will be XEmacs. TLUGer Stephen Turnbull will give us an update of the current state of XEmacs development. All Linux users and supporters of open source code and free software are invited to attend this Tokyo Linux Users Group (TLUG) meeting. Membership is open to anyone. TLUG has an active mailing list, home page, and regular physical meetings. Discussions are primarily held in English, but non-English speakers are encouraged to come and participate. We especially want to encourage Japanese people to attend and will make efforts to support a bilingual meeting. TLUG hosts technical meetings every odd month on the 2nd Saturday, and nomikai's every even month on the 3rd Friday.
