[tlug] Gnumeric and Japanese support

Hello,

I am attempting to read a Japanese Excel document with Gnumeric.
It can read and display the sheets, but the Japanese text inside the cells 
show up as garbage.  The interesting thing is that the tabs and the edit bar 
show readable Japanese text, it is just the spreadsheet view itself that does 
not.

If anyone has encountered this problem before and knows of a quick way to get 
it to work, please enlighten me.

BTW, the setup is x86 RH 7.2
