Thanks, I was under the impression that you could get en ethernet card to
run full-duplex if used with a switch...but I guess I was wrong.

Anyway, with a line running direct from my modem to the Masq. server, would
it be worthwhile using a 100BaseTX card ?(if the modem could handle it that
is)

I don't know whether that service uses DOCSIS standard modems or
something else. Certainly the cable itself is full-duplex (that is
both-ways, simultaneous).

ANYWAY, most cable modems I have seen connect to the customer equipment
(PC, router, hub, whatever) using an Ethernet connection. Ethernet is
half-duplex. (Either way, but not simultaneous.)
