Most cards are supported by the svga driver, so this is almost certainly correct (note: when troubleshooting, it is generally useful to mention exactly what hardware you are having trouble with; in this case, what graphics card do you have?). Editing the XF86Config settings (you may need to edit it in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4) should get you the results you need (restart X after editing). You might also want to check the KDE control panel to see if it has a graphical utility for this, if you're having trouble with editing XF86Config/XF86Config-4. I don't know if it has one or not (don't use KDE), but it's worth a look. Aside: by Red Hat 7, you mean 7.2, right? Jonathan
