Boti, I worked on the file name you mentioned .xinitrc but seen the complexity of this, I rather not go any further for now. I think I am just going to leave it as is when ever the system crashes then I'll reinstall and not mess with the locales any more...hahaha! I learned some thing here ... The old saying "if not broken then don't fix it..."
