Thanks to Jonathan I have now able to get nice network statistics from my Linux server. MRTG really does an amzing job. Can't wait to see what other ncie stats it can generate (looks like it can do disk usage and memory usage too!?) One little question though ... At the top of the MRT graphs I have the following: Max Speed: 10.0 Mbits/s I'm sure my network card supports 10/100 Mb. I had a quick look at my network configuration files but they don't seem to have anything to do with setting the speed of the card. I'm assuming that it's the card auto-negotiating the transfer speed and defaulting to 10 when it should really be using 100? I remember a talk about this on the list a while back but I can't seem to find any relevant messages when I do use the TLUG archive search. Can't someone point me in the right direction?
