I don't have > physical access but I am pretty sure they are the same cards. hmmm FA311s use natsemi chips (I have several) and they perform well. From what I heard FA310s use tulip clones. I have had problems with the tulip driver in recent kernels (low throughput, seems duplex is not negotiated correctly). Stephen
