xbill rocks. I still show it to people who are new to Linux as one of
the first things. :)

Right, *all* gamers do not necessarily want to play games the second
they come out, but, based on my own experience, I am perfectly
confident in my claim that *almost all* do. I do not have to have the
game as soon as it comes out (a notable exception is the latest in
EA's FIFA series! ;), but all of my gamer friends do. Most are so
hard-core that they have their consoles modded and import the games
from Japan, even though they *cannot* read Japanese!

Sure. But again, I *like* the idea of commercial software on Free
platforms. That says to the corporate world: "Look, this Free / Open
Source Software thing is not just for commie weirdos anymore!
Companies are making money by selling their software on these
platforms! This is really Unix now!"

Commercial products like VMware and SSH.com's stuff is great, and I
would, have, and will again pay money for them.

My roommate was a TuxRacer addict.

My problem is that I do not really have time to game, except for a
little FIFA snuck in here and there (I can play one match in about 20
minutes, which is ideal for a coding break).

I also play RPGs in Japanese and justify that as studying! :)

I know, but I never play Windows games on Windows, either. :) The only
experience I have had is once in Japan I was trying to get GTA: London
to run on my laptop under Wine, and I could not do it.

I support Python. Perl's OOP constructs are just disgusting, and
Python does that much better.
