Jim Breen has set this issue forward, and I agree with him that the digest
is hard on the eyes (and the MUA).

I have agreed to tweak Smartlist as much as I can to fix it, but I will not
have time to hack on Smartlist much in the near future.

So please hold on for a few weeks, things should improve eventually.
