Yeah, it is actually working OK for me. I can print and everything. The only problem is that kinput2 sometimes gets into a weird state, and I have to kill it to get it back to normal. Not really such a problem for me, but my wife (a Windows user) finds it pretty irritating. It would be great if Linux had the Japanese input capabilities of Windows.
