Re: [tlug] Read/write japanese
So I'm trying to use Japanese with Gentoo as well. I've started
cannaserver and am now trying to activate kinput2, but get the following
message:
bash-2.05b$ kinput2 -xim -kinput -canna &
[1] 2307

Don't bother asking me for the encoding, because it looks like mojibake
in kterm as well.
kinput2 actually _works_, but it only produces kana, and no kanzi.
Any quick remedy for this? Is there a gentoo package with dictionaries
that I need to get?
