Yeah, what he said :-) These difference may be more important at the server level than at the workstation level (with the exception of the file system size limit, considering how big disks are these days), but that doesn't make them meaningless at the workstation level. NTFS is just all-around better. The worst thing about it is that newer versions of NTFS tend to not be backward compatible with older ones. An NTFS disk from an XP machine could probably not be removed and just plugged into an NT4 machine and 100% work. Compare this with the backward compatibility of EXT3 to EXT2.
