Personally, I'm holding off OZ for SL-C7XX series PDA's until support for detecting screen rotation and appropriately reorienting the applications has stabilized. I am, however, strongly tempted to drop in a new kernel with the preemption patch fairly soon. Some folks have claimed a noticably gain in responsiveness on zaurus' running it (heh, might also be nice opportunity to turn off the sharp logo and see normal linux boot messages) My main efforts of late have focused on reconciling differences between jeode and personal java sufficiently so that a single ipk for a java app will correctly configure for either jvm. In particular, differences in how fonts are configured under each jvm and strange font behaviour in both jvm's depending on localization settings have proven a bit of a pain. On the whole, I have found the zaurus pretty solid and most strange behaviour attributable to effects from my own hacking and testing. There are a few things that would still keep me from recommending them in favour of palm devices for the general users but the latest models are getting really close, imo. As a mobile hacking device, however, it beats anything else out there in the same class/size hands down. Cheers, Bruce
