I am having problems compiling all versions after im-ja 0.7 under Gentoo Linux. I think it is probably a local problem. Configure finds wnn checking wnn/jllib.h usability... yes checking wnn/jllib.h presence... yes checking for wnn/jllib.h... yes checking for crypt in -lcrypt... yes checking for js_version in -lwnn... yes but make doesn't gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -DIMJA_TARGET_GTK -DGTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED -DGDK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED -DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED -DFOR_PILOT_COMPAT -DKP_LIBDIR=\"/usr/share/im-ja\" -DKPENGINEDIR=\"/usr/lib/im-ja\" -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -DORBIT2=1 -I/usr/include/gconf/2 -I/usr/include/orbit-2.0 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -march=athlon-mp -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -MT im_ja_la-im-ja.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/im_ja_la-im-ja.Tpo -c im-ja.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/im_ja_la-im-ja.o In file included from wnnconfig.h:1, from wnnlib.h:31, from wnn.h:5, from im-ja.h:135, from im-ja-gtk.c:31: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.3/include/wnn/commonhd.h:52:22: wnnerror.h: No such file or directory In file included from wnnconfig.h:1, from wnnlib.h:31, from wnn.h:5, from im-ja.h:135, from im-ja.c:36: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.3/include/wnn/commonhd.h:52:22: wnnerror.h: No such file or directory In file included from wnnconfig.h:1, from wnnlib.h:31, from wnn.h:5, from im-ja.h:135, from im-ja-gtk-impl.c:22: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.3/include/wnn/commonhd.h:52:22: wnnerror.h: No such file or directory It is clearly looking for the wnn include files in the gcc include directory rather then /usr/include. This only seems to be happening with the im-ja. Has anyone got any idea what is happening here? Edward
