In my case, I'm mapping right-alt to Mode_switch. Scroll-lock is not very
convenient to press simultaneously with other keys. For eastern european
layouts (at least for hungarian), right and left alt are different. Right
alt is called AltGr and is used similarly to input characters that didn't
fit into the standard layout (Fn key on laptops is also similar in
concept).

Anyway, use xev to figure out the keycodes and look at the result, it
helps a lot.
