Before start doing something do not do, only if you do know what you are 
doing.

If is Hard RAID in boot setup or special boot CD  should have Recovery 
procedures.

If Soft RAID cat /etc/ridtab depend on Distro for more info about RAID 
matrix.

My advice is better to ask somebody to do right JOB or possible to lose 
critical data very easy.

Before doing something BACKUP all DATA, this is very important to have 
one more backup just in case ;-)
