It seems to me Debian, Gentoo, etc, are distros that attract people
who like putting on overalls and tinkering with their cars at the
weekends, tightening this and oiling that. Me, I just want to put
the key in the ignition and drive. The closest I'd get to tinkering
is filling the tank and putting some water in the radiator (Do
cars still have them?) Mandrake is like that. Maybe one day in the
far distant future I might change it and I have a separate /home
partition so it's not a problem if I do, but now I just switch on
and drive, I'm not interested in what's under the bonnet. So you
may think less of me because of it, I'm not into distro snobbery
like some of you so I'm going to unsubscribe from this forum and 
let you have some peace from us tedious noobs
