it's funny that when copying all of 11000+ files which are permissioned
at 555, I sometimes get permission errors and mostly not

cp -R /media/cdrecorder /home/j/R/aba_2
cp: cannot create regular file
`/home/j/R/aba_2/cdrecorder/actions/switching/boy pushing in electrical
p.jpg': Permission denied


of the 11000+ files, about nine came back as errors

gave me fits using nautilus

at least the command line just reported the error and kept going
