I would have to say since you are running FC3 you probably have SELinux
enabled and it is logging to the terminal.
I am sure there is a way to turn that off I think it is disable the
warnings option but I cant be sure right now or where to turn it off at.
Google both I am sure you will find it. Also check the Fedora list
archives.
