I really like the Kodansha Furigana JE dictionarly as well. Another good one is the NTC New Japanese-English Character Dictionary. The NTC dictionary is a fine piece of work, much more usable than the equivalent Chinese-English dictionaries I used when studying Chinese. I have a whole bunch of dictionaries and such, but those two, and "A Dictionary of {Basic,Intermediate} Japanese Grammar", were my main tools for learning Japanese. Jake
