What are the settings in your xorg.conf and is the wacom driver for
X11 present/loaded (see /var/log/Xorg.0.log).
I don't have a Wacom tablet, but on my tablet PC, I needed to install
and setup the X11 modules for the pen (also wacom) to work.
My pen is a serial device, so I don't know how the usb version differs.
