I am [using] a 300 watt PS but I am not quite sure what the kWh rate is here. Sorry I don't happen to have my electric bill on me. Regardless the estimate I provided was based on the increase that I remember 2 years ago when I plugged the server in and ran it the whole time. As I said in the first mail regarding the hosting at my house.... <quote> 9000 <--- all costs are rough estimates you can find cheaper if look just what I have been paying and not really worth the hassle to switch. </quote> Also even if the server was not hosting web sites and mail..... it would still be on so I can pursue other activity's like watch movies (bit torrent) file serving and testing..... So for me to be able to host sites and mail is a added bonus. > > OK. It's clear you don't know how much power your computer uses. No I do not I never took the time to test it. But if you have the time I got the beer your welcome to come over and we can figure it out! > It is possible to have a computer that would use only > 4500 yen per year of electricity.
