[tlug] Tim Pritlove on CCC in Tokyo next month

Tim Pritlove of the Chaos Computer Club is visiting Japan next
month. He's arriving on September 9 and leaving on September 19.
He'll be going to Kyoto first and then arriving in Tokyo on either
the 12th or 13th. I think his schedule is still fairly open, so if
we could arrange to schedule a technical meeting on September 14
or 15 (instead of a nomikai), I can ask if he'll be free to come
and do a presentation.

Tim is the events organizer for the Chaos Computer Club (which
he's been involved with for more than 20 years). In particular,
he's the organizer of the annual Chaos Communication Congress
(three-day event attended by around 3000 people each year) and
Project Blinkenlights:

Blinkenlights started out in 2001 when the CCC took a building at
the Alexanderplatz in Berlin, rigged up a system of floodlamps
behind all if its windows and turned the whole building into a
giant low-res computer screen. People walking by could use their
mobile phones to play Pong with each other on the screen and to
post messages to it. They did it again more recently, with a much
bigger building, at the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris.

At Reboot 8 in Copenhagen in June, I saw Tim do a presentation
called "Creative Chaos":

During part of it, he showed a video with footage of the Chaos
Communication Congress and Blinkenlights events. It's well worth
seeing, so I hope we can manage to make arrangements to have him
speak to the group next month.
