First, I can assure you that I remember the struggles of learning Windows--from Version 2, which was a piece of trash even by Microsoft's standards of trash. [snip-snip] I think I have sufficient memories of 'suffering for my art.' You can say I've just gotten lazy about it.This is a good point - I've met a number of people who have basically said "been there, done that" who just don't want to go back to the headache of having to tinker with their work machine's OS. [snip-snip]................ Though my employer is regarded as one of the stronger supporters of Linux, we don't have much support for actually using Linux within the company. Let's just say there are various kinds of computer-related work I need to get done. Ceteris paribus, I'd prefer to use anything besides Microsoft's software, but ceteris is never paribus.Never studied Latin, so I'm not sure what the "ceteris paribus" gibberish is about - but there's an important issue here of practicality versus morality. At what point does one take on added headaches to avoid supporting an immoral and illegal corporation like Microsoft? The more people who support Linux, the better it will be and the weaker the Microsoft monster will be. Through lack of morality and laziness, you help to strengthen the monster. Seeing the downward spiral of things in the world today, this is something you should think about. Lyle
