They patent processes that are not even upgrades to existing actual patents... They patent things that have been used as common practice for a decade, but because there is no patent yet, they assume it hasn't been invented. The word of the law says they have to take measures to make sure that no patent has been filed at any point, and that it is not already a common process. Those laws are violated by many patents currently in existence. =( Patents, in and of themselves are not wrong, but the current patent administrating body is nuts....
