[tlug] how to use ne2k_pci instead of realtek 8139

HI,

I saw a fc6 rpm in testing that mentioned using ne2k_pci instead of
realtek 8139 as the former is supposed to work better. I also saw the
following on the Xen list which seems to suggest the same.

any suggestions on how to do something like this? I am concluding that
the current realtek driver and fc6 aren't in love. I need fc6 for the
jmicron (spelling) bug though so can't drop down or use something more
stable.

--------------message I have a question about----------------
I would like to find out what is the network model (pcnet, ne2k_pci,
etc) to use in the configuration file.

I have the following setup

NIC: Intel 10/100 or Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM5708.
...

If I do not specify model for vif, xen pick RealTek 8139 as the NIC and
the network will NOT work. If I specified model as pcnet, then
everything worked just fine. However, if I reboot the guest OS, xen pick
RealTek 8139 as NIC again and the kudzu just ask me to reconfigure the
NIC again. If I just delete the Guest OS instance, then re-create the
guest OS, then the pcnet will be picked.
--------------------------------message asking about over -----------

thanks,

Shawn
