Installfests are definitely passe and dead here, so I was certainly surprised to see the installfest announcement, which leads me to wonder why installfests are desired where you are. Is Linux still too new there? Do folks just expect more handholding? I look forward to hearing how the installfest goes. What did the attendees want? Why did they go? How experienced with computers are the attendees? How much exposure have they had to Linux? Why do they want to use Linux? Jim
