What are you referring to? The "target ~= regex" notation?
exactly :import re
p = re.compile('[a-z]+')
if p.match("some text"):
do_somthing()
in python vs :
if ( "some text" =~ /[a-z]+/ ) {
do_somthing();
}
in perl.
