WinSCP is a Windows application if I'm not mistaken.

How would you use it on a Linux machine? Remember, we're talking about
Linux to Linux here, not Linux to Windows.

And there's nothing difficult about adding a line to /etc/exports and
running "exportfs -r".

Of course, it's less secure than ssh. Then again, if this network
service is being shielded from the outside then it's nowhere near as
critical.
