Yeah, well, "old" is a problem for any reasonably close to state-of- the-art form factor. My brother puts 10GHz circuits in boxes, my wife used to draw similar boxes, and the war stories they tell about the corners that literally get cut so you can reroute a problematic wire are pretty hilarious. It takes years to get that stuff standardized. (I sympathize, I love my old hardware.) Speaking of Windows Vista, what is it all about? All MSFT's ads on Japanese TV do is graphics that on the Mac go back to the Superbowl in Black ad, and imply that all the cool salarymen[1] have to have Vista. Footnotes: [1] I guess I'll have to see if I can get "Big Vinnie" to add that as a code name in the "OXYMORON series".
