To check device support for ACPI you can use the acpi tools to check (or dig through proc manually).
Yep it is in there and working .... but still getting hot
acpi -V Battery 1: charged 100% Thermal 1:ok, 58.0 degrees C Thermal 2:ok, 63.0 degrees C
Seems a bit hot ....
I found this link and am curently working my way through it to see if I can sort out the problem....
